Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation

The Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation (AIOC) collaborates with Indigenous communities throughout Alberta to invest in various sectors, including natural resources, agriculture, telecommunications, and transportation projects.

The previous hurdle of accessing capital for investment has now been removed. Thanks to the availability of up to $1 billion in loan guarantees, the AIOC facilitates access to capital, enhances affordability in financing, and improves lending terms. This endeavor aims to foster economic prosperity and bring about positive social changes within communities, not only in the short term but also for the benefit of generations to come.

The Lakeland Métis community is actively seeking partnerships to leverage the unique opportunities provided by the AIOC. Through collaboration, we aspire to create a bright and prosperous future for our current citizens and future generations.
